Carnation was formed in December 1983. They made their record debut in 1984 with the single "Yoru no Entotsu" on Nagomu Records. Since then, while undergoing several member changes, they have released numerous works without being consumed by trends. Their significance is immense due to their meticulously crafted songs, lyrics sharply detailing the joys and sorrows of life, outstanding ensemble performance, powerful vocals, and encyclopedic knowledge as "record junkies." The current members are Masahiro Naoe (Vo.G) and Yuzuru Ota (Ba).

■Yasuyuki Horigome:
He debuted in 1997 as the Vo/Gt of the sibling band "KIRINJI." He left the band on April 12, 2013, and began his career as a solo artist thereafter. He made his solo debut on November 19, 2014, with the single "Brand New Song." To date, he has released two collaboration EPs, GOOD VIBRATIONS, and three full albums.

His notable songs include solo tracks like "Sunday in the park + STUTS" and "WHAT A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT," as well as KIRINJI-era songs like "Aliens" and "Sweet Soul," and "Moegara" from Uma no Hone.
Highly trusted both inside and outside the industry as a rare melody maker, his sweet singing voice continues to captivate listeners across genres, from upbeat rock and roll to profound ballads.
