“KLEW,” a Communication Service for Live Attendees, Marks Its First Year with Adoption by 37 Artists and 92 Channels.
Releases 1st Anniversary Infographics Featuring Comments from Artists Including Ohzora Kimishima and The Novembers.
KLEW, a communication service operated by Kulture Inc. that allows only performing artists and ticket holders to participate in dedicated channels, has reached its first anniversary since launching in November 2024.
Under the concept of “Evolving every ticket from an admission pass into a communication tool,”
KLEW has provided a new space where artists and fans — and fans with each other — can share the emotional atmosphere surrounding a live performance, strengthen their relationships, and enrich the overall live experience.
To mark this milestone, we have released a set of 1st Anniversary Infographics, summarizing KLEW’s introduction results and comments from participating artists and staff members.
Nearly 100 Channels Opened in the First Year
Over the past year, 37 artists have introduced KLEW, and 92 channels have been opened.
By enabling participation only for artists and fans who hold tickets to the same event, KLEW has created a new type of communication environment that allows live experiences to be co-created through shared excitement and direct interaction.
In addition, KLEW has obtained a Japanese patent (Patent No. 7691202) for the technology that enables communication exclusively among event ticket holders.
Artists Who Have Used KLEW
A wide range of artists — including rock bands, singer-songwriters, and more — have used KLEW.
Through discussions with each artist about the best way to utilize the platform, we have shaped communication unique to KLEW: creating anticipation before shows, sharing the emotional afterglow afterward, and enabling new forms of connection between artists and their fans.

The Value KLEW Provides
Because channel participation requires fans to register their live ticket, only actual attendees can join.
This makes it possible to share exclusive content for attendees, allows artists and fans to exchange feelings before and after a show, and creates a more intimate and comfortable space for communication compared to social media.
By focusing on verified participants, KLEW also enables artists and staff to understand fan demographics and attendance histories, which used to be dispersed across different ticketing vendors and events.
Providing Attendance Data to Artists and Teams
KLEW provides artists and staff with data on the fans who participated in each channel.
This includes gender and age distribution, geographic distribution, repeat attendance counts within a tour, and the repeat attendance rate compared to previous tours.
By combining this with communication data from within KLEW, artists can better understand fans from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives.
Knowing “who is coming to the shows” helps improve live event planning and promotional efforts.
KLEW will continue to enhance features that support audience growth and improve engagement.
Comments From Artists and Staff
We have received comments from artists and staff who used KLEW over the past year.
Together with usage examples, these comments offer valuable “real voices” from the field.
Future Outlook for KLEW
Over the past year, KLEW has been able to create a communication space that enriches the live experience thanks to the cooperation of many artists and staff, and to the fans who enjoy communicating within KLEW.
KLEW currently functions as a platform that transforms what has traditionally been only an “admission ticket” into a starting point for fan communication.
Looking ahead, we aim to acquire attendee information in a positive and transparent way, and ultimately provide artists and management with attendee analysis and engagement visualization.
Through these efforts, we aim to contribute to repeat attendance and new fan development.
For fans, we will continue working to provide new opportunities to discover live performances and enjoy deeper musical experiences.
Contact
We hope more artists, staff, and live-music fans will experience KLEW.

About KLEW
KLEW was launched in November 2024 as Japan’s first platform that allows only fans who hold tickets for the same live performance, and the artists appearing in that show, to communicate digitally.
In June 2025, KLEW obtained a Japanese patent (Patent No. 7691202) for its technology that enables communication exclusively among event ticket holders.
By transforming live tickets — where the most passionate fans gather — into a tool for fan communication, KLEW aims to create new connections between artists and fans and enhance the overall live experience.
