Kulture has launched NFT for "Viewing Tickets" and "Paid Stickers" for BABYMETAL Live Streaming.
The stickers are no longer expendable.
Users now can make own sticker collection as a token of the support for the artists!!
～Together with the evolution of technology, we are devoted to creating new entertainment～Kulture Inc. has unveiled on Wednesday, 19th July 2023 that a function to collect NFT on "THE ONE" (*2) My Page has newly developed, whereby NFT will be granted to users(*1) who purchase viewing tickets and stickers for BABYMETAL live-streaming as a token of the purchase.
The NFT will be granted as a "THE ONE” exclusive benefit for "BABYMETAL RETURNS - THE OTHER ONE - LIVESHIP", which was streamed on 13th June (Tue) and 18th June (Sun) 2023, on the live-streaming platform "LIVESHIP" operated by Amuse, Inc.
Until now, stickers are purchased by users and used during live-streaming to liven up the chat for artists and also to express the excitement and support for artists. However, many of these stickers were expendables that are used only during the live-streaming.
With the new measure, NFT depicted the same illustration as stickers purchased during the live-streaming will be granted, and that will allow users to remind the excitement of the live-streaming and leave the feeling of support for the artist at hand in more tangible form.
During the recent live-streaming, many stickers have successfully livened up the chat to the songs and the live performance, which was attributed to the creativity of the stickers and its new new function to keep stickers as NFT at hand.
How stickers are used in the chat during live-streaming
Also for live-streaming tickets, anyone who purchase “THE ONE” exclusive tickets will be granted NFT as a token of participation, which can be collected on "THE ONE" My Page.
A ticket is one of the most important proofs of participation in a live concert. While some live-streaming services provide ticket-like digital images, we have explored how we could create the proof of participation which the fans are truly seeking for. With this in mind, we have implemented an initiative to allow users to keep a proof of participation in live-streaming in the form of NFT.
Since NFT, as a proof of live-streaming ticket, is issued in the form of SBT(Soulbound Token), NFT can not be transferred to other parties' wallets. By blocking the aspect of NFT such as profit on sale from the secondary distribution, it offers users the intrinsic value of " irreplaceable digital data", and enable to continuously certify own unique "proof" throughout the future.
The NFT will be collected by series in "THE ONE NFT BOOK" in "THE ONE" My Page.
Since NFT is usually held and managed in a wallet, our NFT will also be held and managed in "A Wallet," which was co-developed by Kulture and Amuse inc. The new collection page allows NFT to be displayed within a site design in line with BABYMETAL's world view, which enhanced the collectible value of the NFT.
As shown in this case, Kulture will continue to work with LIVESHIP to promote initiatives for upgrading the live-streaming experience and fan service even further.
